Alpharetta, Georgia – March 1, 2017 – allnex announced today that due to the increase in raw material costs, the company is forced to raise the cost of the Liquid Resins and Additives (LRA) portfolio sold in North America.
The primary driver forcing this announcement is the continued increases in feedstocks over the past few months, combined with recent shortages aggravated by production outages. The price of products in the portfolio, including but not limited to the following product groups- additives, waterborne acrylics, solventborne acrylics, solventborne alkyds, waterborne alkyds, waterborne epoxies and waterborne amine hardeners, will be increased by up to $0,15/kg. The adjustment will be effective for all shipments as of March 15, 2016, or as contract terms permit.
